Diagnostic Evaluation/Assessment (ADHD, ASD, Co-Occurring Disorders, etc)

A diagnostic evaluation is a comprehensive process that includes a clinical interview, evidence-based self-report rating scales, and a thorough assessment of physical health. This multifaceted approach helps establish or rule out a diagnosis that takes about 4 hours to complete. Following the evaluation, you will receive a report detailing your diagnosis and other information with a 3 week turnaround. This type of evaluation is invaluable if you are seeking clarity about your own or a loved one’s psychological health. It also provides supportive information for managing or starting psychiatric medications and, in some instances, may assist in securing employment accommodations, or state licensing exam accommodations depending on specific requirements. However, please note that the diagnosis report from this evaluation does not qualify you for accommodations on standardized testing (such as the SAT, LSAT, or college exams).

Neuropsychological Testing

For those requiring accommodations or services such as (ABA therapy, SAT, LSAT, or college exams) , a neuropsychological evaluation is necessary. These detailed assessments last about eight hours and include a range of tests measuring memory, IQ, executive functioning, and processing speed. Neuropsychological evaluations also feature clinical interviews with both clients and their families to fully understand the individual’s cognitive and academic performance. All collected data is meticulously analyzed to provide a detailed 15-25 page report that highlights your cognitive strengths and weaknesses, which can be used to seek necessary accommodations.
